REMA Cancels December shows for health reasons.

Afrobeat star Rema has cancelled all his December performances to concentrate on his health which he had ignored months ago as a result of countless shows in recent times.


Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor made this known to his fans in a story post on Instagram 


“Breaks my heart to say that I won’t be performing anywhere this December. Been years of touring I’ve ignored my health and I need time to recuperate. 2024 we go again love,” he said.




His now-cancelled tour dates for December were booked for the Nigerian cities of Abuja, Benin and Lagos.


He was also billed to perform at the Hey Neighbour Festival in South Africa on 9 December.


It is not clear whether fans who have already bought tickets will be refunded or have their tickets carried over to new dates in 2024.


Rema is best Knowm Globally for his hit song Calm Down, which has swept multiple awards. Accepting the first-ever Billboard Music Award for best Afrobeats song earlier this month, Rema thanked his fans and called the prize "a celebration of unity and the global domination of Afrobeats".

  Wrestler/ Actor John Cena has declared his announcement from the world wrestling entertainment (WWE) which will include a farewell tour next year..  John disclosed this to fans during WWE "Money in the bank" event in Canada. Fans booed to express their dissatisfaction of the Actor's decision. John Cena offered a heartfelt speech of gratitude to his wrestling fans  “for letting me play in the house that you built for so many years.” “WWE is filled with stories. Popular Ghanaian sound engineer, Hammer of the Last 2 quits A1 Bread role to dedicate his time and energy fully to his highly anticipated musical comeback. Hammer whose real name is Edward Nana Poku Osei confirmed decleared his departure from A1 Bread via a heartfelt statement on Facebook. “I’ve been working on my new compilation album for a while now.
