Pope Francis approves Catholic Priests to bless same-sex couples.

  Pope Francis    has formally authorised Roman Catholic priests to bless same-sex couples, the Vatican announced Monday, in a significant shift in the church’s approach to LGBTQ+ people. On Monday,    Vatican's doctrine office released a statement which contains guidance and details the  declaration , which states, in part,  "When people ask for a blessing, an exhaustive moral analysis should not be placed as a precondition for conferring it. For those seeking a blessing should not be required to have prior moral perfection." "Ultimately, a blessing offers people a means to increase their trust in God," the declaration states. "The request for a blessing, thus, expresses and nurtures openness to the transcendence, mercy and closeness to God in a thousand concrete circumstances of life, which is no small thing in the world in which we live." Gospel singer, Pedro Henrique dies after collapsing on stage.

  Brazilian Gospel singer Pedro Henrique died onstage during a live performance on Wednesday.  According to  CNN Brazil  and  New York Post , the 30 year old Henrique was performing at a private event in Fiera de Santana, Bahia, a city in northeastern Brazil. when he collapsed. People who were present at the event quickly rushed Henrique to a nearby clinic, where he was declared dead. An official cause of death has not been disclosed, But according to reports by CNN and  TMZ , it's suspected that the singer suffered a heart attack. REMA Cancels December shows for health reasons.

  Afrobeat star Rema has cancelled all his December performances to concentrate on his health which he had ignored months ago as a result of countless shows in recent times. Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor made this known to his fans in a story post on Instagram  “Breaks my heart to say that I won’t be performing anywhere this December. Been years of touring I’ve ignored my health and I need time to recuperate. 2024 we go again love,” he said. His now-cancelled tour dates for December were booked for the Nigerian cities of Abuja, Benin and Lagos. He was also billed to perform at the Hey Neighbour Festival in South Africa on 9 December. It is not clear whether fans who have already bought tickets will be refunded or have their tickets carried over to new dates in 2024.
